After the announcement of disruptive offers by Reliance Jio, the Indian Telecom market has reacted abruptly. With the advent of Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan Plan earlier this week, all other telecom companies are eagerly searching for the way to roll out the offers and keep their users base unbroken.
Being one of the incumbents, Airtel has launched some of the exciting plans with its Rs 399 bundled data plan for 70 days. Vodafone has also come up with some interesting plans to beat Jio.
As the third largest telecom operator in India, Idea Cellular has also joined the race by introducing its driven offers and all set to win the hearts of its users.
The latest plan offered by Idea includes two new combo plans which are priced at Rs 297 and Rs 447. The packs offer unlimited voice call in India and high-speed 4G data for 70 days. Though Jio offered unrestricted unlimited call across the country, Idea Cellular is adding FUP limit on the calls.
Talking about the offers, the low price Rs 297 plan will be offering free calls which include 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week and the 1GB data usage per day for 70 days is the high point of this offer. Moreover, For Rs 447, users will get 3,000 minutes free voice calls for 70 days (any network across India) and 1GB 4G data per day. These offers are quite competitive to the plans offered by Jio which includes 1GB data per day at 4G speed for 84 days for Rs. 309.
Though compared to other telcos, the plans offered by Idea do not seem bad. It will be interesting to see if Idea manages to keep its users happy in this competitive era of free data giveaway.
