Another company which is expected to be showcasing its new flagship device at upcoming MWC, 2018, is Huawei. The company might launch another smartphone of its P-series soon. The next iteration of the same series would be named as Huawei P20. Recently, many information regarding the codenames and color options have surfaced online.
The renowned tipster Roland Quandt claimed that the next generation model of P-series will be named as Huawei P20. As per the latest leak, the smartphone will come with a codename of ‘Emily’ and it will be available in Ceramic Black and Twilight color options. Another two variants of the same models are believed to be Huawei P20 Plus and Huawei P20 Lite which are codenamed as Charlotte and Anne respectively. Huawei P20 Lite will come in Midnight Black, Klein Blue, and Sakura Pink color option while the Plus model will be available in Ceramic Black and Twilight colors.
Earlier, the company decided to go for the trademark for “Huawei P11” in 2015 in Europe, while the company filed a trademark for “Huawei P20” only in the United States. Now, looks like, the company has decided to settle for Huawei P20 finally.
As far as specifications of the device are concerned, the phone might come with a dual-rear camera setup – an RGB lens and a monochrome lens. Also, the phone might be powered by a 4,000mAh battery. There will be much slimmer bezels on the sides of the devices as compared to the previous models. It is expected to be powered by the company’s own latest Kirin 970 AI chipset and might run the latest EMUI 8.0 which will be based on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
