Galaxy A5 (2017) & A7 (2017) Gets WiFi Certification Running Android 7.0 Nougat

The new Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 versions launched in 2017 have now received the WiFi certification for Android 7.0 nougat. Both the phones are successors to previous A5 and A7 launched in 2016. This has now been confirmed when both the devices have been spotted on WiFi alliance.

Both the phones were launched with Android version marshmallow out of the box. The new reports from WiFi alliance suggests that both the phones are likely to receive the latest Android update . They will now join the long list of smartphones receiving this Nougat update.

Still, it is yet to be confirmed when both the devices will receive this update. But now that the certification has been started for both the devices, we can certainly hope that the process will begin soon. Earlier, we reported that the Samsung Galaxy A5 was about to receive new firmware update.

Although it might be for the announcement, we can tell you beforehand how to avail this update. Once the update will be available, you will be notified on your phone automatically. Otherwise, you can also manually download this update from your settings menu. We suggest you to prefer WiFi connection because the update might be large in size. And also keep your battery fully charged as this will take time to install in your smartphone.
