Free Wi-Fi facility started at 28 stations on Konkan railway

Free Wi-Fi facility:

Being in 21st century, has a lot of perks with it. Along with it, one certainly goes with saying is digitization. From shopping to recharging to education, everything is being digitized. Indian railway wants to be toe to toe with this changing trend. They are always trying to bring something to the customers.

Recently on Sunday railway ministry have decided to launch wifi at 28 new station on the konkan railways route. In the initial phase unlimited WiFi will be provided at 28 stations from Kolad to Madure along with no charges.

The ministry believes this will help commuters and travelers get the access they want. Along with the ease of travelling they are getting. This will also help them get the essential information required during travelling. Further they can enjoy the journey more.

For this Indian Railway has tied up with syskon and joister for providing this facilities to the customers. This can be considered an initiative towards smart India.

It has also been informed that the mobile application joispot will be providing 2 megabytes per second speed with unlimited uploads.

This free WiFi facility will be available at the stations of Kolad, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Vinhere, Diwankhavati, Khed and Anjani. Including Chiplun, Kamthe, Sawarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar, Ukshi, Bhoke and Ratnagiri.

Along with the above stations this will also be provided at this given stations . Nivasar, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road and Madure.

Under this scheme about 300 at bigger stations and 100 users at the small stations can access the Internet facility at the same time. This can be added to the accomplishments by the Indian railway in the current years. And this will be only added to the growth of Indian Railways.
