For the most anticipated launch from Samsung, the company will soon take off wraps from Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+. With just one week away from its launch, the popular online retailer Flipkart has teased the phones will be available on their website where the phones are showcased with the tagline “ The Camera. Reimagined”. This can likely be an indicator of an India launch being right around the corner. The smartphones are said to be equipped with powerful cameras with the plus variant going to become the company’s first smartphone to pack a dual-camera setup in the line-up. However, there is no hint as to when the smartphone series will arrive in India.
Expected Specifications of Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+:
As we are clear by now that the new duo of S9 will not have a major departure from Galaxy S8 duo in terms of design, all thanks to some many leaks and renders. Looking the specifications which were leaked earlier, the Samsung Galaxy S9 will feature a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy S9+ will be coming with 6.2 inches with similar screen resolution. Both the phones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor in the US, while other countries will get Exynos 9810 SoC. The Galaxy S9 might be coming with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the Galaxy S9+ will feature a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Also, as per the previously leaked images, the Galaxy S9 will feature a 3,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S9+ will coming with a 3,500mAh battery.
The company will be officially unveiling the Galaxy S9 duo on February 25 at 6 PM CET (10:30 PM IST) which will be live streamed on Youtube. The phones are expected to go on for pre-orders from the day of launch, while shipping is expected to start from March 8, 2018.
