Moto E4 plus was launched exclusively on Flipkart last week and has already become a best seller.
According to Flipkart, which is an exclusive retail partner for the phone, over 1 lakh units of the Moto E4 Plus were sold in the first 24 hours after it became available on July 12.
“Following the midnight launch on 12th July, Flipkart sold Moto E4 Plus at a rate of over 580 units per minute (for the first 60 minutes),” as stated by a Flipkart executive.
The demand for the phone was relatively higher in the northern states, according to the company,”The contribution of the states of UP and Bihar combined is 12 per cent to the overall sales number achieved.”
The Moto E4 Plus is available for Rs 9,999. The phone comes with a large 5.5-inch screen. The most attractive feature of the phone which has supposedly led to these huge sales is the phone’s battery life, it comes with comes with a large 5000 mAh battery which is expected to last for two full days. The phone runs on Android Nougat in its pure form, which makes it quite unique device in this price range.
Unlike the popular phones like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, which run Chinese MIUI software on top of Android, the Moto E4 Plus uses plain, simple and feature-rich Android as created by Google.
