Firefox Focus Updated With New Features on Hitting 1 Million Downloads

Less than a month ago Firefox Focus had hit the mark of one million downloads on the Play Store. The browser has a 4.5-star rating and a lot of positive reviews from its users.

Firefox claims the reason behind their success being the speed, simplicity and much needed privacy control making it a secure and private browser.

As a part of the celebration of their success, Mozilla has brought up some new features for the browser.

These new features will include:

  • Full-Screen Videos:  According to the user feedback for the browser this feature was the most wished for by the users and in response to this Mozilla has added a new feature which will allow the users to expand the video to the full size of their cellphone screen while playing them. Support for various video sites has been added but Youtube if left out as of now as YouTube support is dependent on a bug fix from Google.
  • Supports Downloads:  Understanding the users need to download files from the internet for various purposes which could be listening to music, playing games, reading an ebook, or doing some professional work, the app is updated to support downloads of files of all kind.
  • Updated Notification Actions: Notifications will now not only serve the purpose of reminding the user to erase history or some reminding but notifications will now serve as a shortcut to open Firefox Focus browser which will make accessing and browsing faster and easier.
