A new smartphone is soon going to be released in the country on February 14, which is believed to Redmi Note 5. Since the starting of 2018, the company has been silent in India as it has not launched any device yet. So, this would be the first major launch for the Chinese company in India. Now as per the latest news, it has been confirmed that the new smartphone will be launched exclusively on Flipkart. Therefore, Flipkart is the official online retail partner which can be considered by the fact that the previous devices like Redmi Note 3 and Redmi Note 4 were also exclusively available on this e-commerce site.
Recollecting the specifications of the device which were leaked earlier, the Redmi Note 5 is expected to feature a 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display along with 18:9 display. Also, the smartphone could be powered by a 2.0GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor. The phone might come with a 32GB/64GB internal storage. The smartphone could runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with MIUI 9 on top. Furthermore, the smartphone will also carry support for facial recognition.
