Reliance Jio made an announcement of its new Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan offer in which the customers who recharge with Rs 399 pack between October 12 and October 18 will get a 100% cashback of the recharge amount. The customer will get the cashback in the form of 8 vouchers worth Rs 50 each which the customer can avail one at a time after November 15. These vouchers can be redeemed by the customers one at a time for future recharges of Rs 309 and above plans or Rs 91 plan and above. For example if the customer wants to buy a recharge of Rs 399, then he can use the Rs 50 voucher and will later only have to pay a sum of Rs 349 via credit card, debit card, net banking or any other payment medium.
However, this offer is only valid for the Jio customers whose validity still remains. The recharge of Rs 399 done between the offer period can be used by the customer only when the ongoing pack validity gets over. The customer can redeem the voucher from Jio.com website, Jio store outlets, Reliance Digital large-format stores, MyJio app and the company’s partner retailers and online services like PayTM, PhonePe, Amazon Pay and Mobikwik.
As far as the JioPhone is concerned, the company said that the phones will be shipped and delivered first to tier II and tier III cities and later to tier I cities. The company also has a competition in this area from telecom operator Bharti Airtel who announced about its partnership with Karbonn. The Karbonn A40 Smartphone will be sold at an effective price of Rs 1399 to the customers with a cash back benefit along with certain terms and conditions.
Notably, Reliance Jio has not given an official confirmation on any change in the tariff plans for October 19 yet.
