Xiaomi’s Mi MIX 2 is soon going to be in the market in the second half of this year. This news is confirmed on China’s social networking site Weibo by the CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun. It was announced much before that the company is working on the successor of Xiaomi Mi MIX which was released back in November 2016.

There have been many leaks and rumors already before the official announcement. The company has collaborated with Phillipe Starck for the design of its upcoming model. The highlighting point of the phone is its near bezel-less curved AMOLED display with 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio and a ceramic body. Earlier we have seen in Mi MIX, a screen-to-body ratio of 91.3 per cent. Clearly, Mi MIX 2 is going to be more interesting.

If we talk about the software part of the device it includes Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal memory and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It features feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2540×1440 pixels. For the camera part, it comes with a 19-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera which was a 16MP main camera and a 5MP selfie camera for Mi MIX. Also, it uses a 4,500mAh battery. It is also rumored that the fingerprint sensor will be provided on the display of the phone.

With all these top-notch features, Mi MIX 2 is highly anticipated for a successful device to be released by Xiaomi in 2017.
