A new smartphone dubbed as CENTRiC L3 has landed in the Indian smartphone market from the home-based smartphone manufacturing brand, CENTRiC Mobiles. The phone is priced at ₹6,749. The budget smartphone is released on Monday.
“We have launched ‘L3’ which has all the desired specifications in the right budget. With L3, we aim to become the category leaders,” Manish Agarwal, founder, CENTRiC Mobiles said in a statement.

Now looking into the specs-sheet of the device, the smartphone features a 2.5D curved 5-inch HD IPS display with the screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor along with Mali T720 MP2 GPU. For the storage, the phone comes with 2GB of RAM and is backed by a 16GB of internal storage, that can further be expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner which is embedded right below the display on the front.
For the photography section, the device boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera on the back and for the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. For keeping the lights on, the phone is juiced up by a 3050mAh battery, which is claimed to offer 15 hours of backup. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
For the connectivity options, the smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, dual-SIM and micro USB 2.0 port, while sensors on board included are Triaxial Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor.
