Reliance Jio’s latest ‘Happy New Year 2018’ offer scheme is a nightmare for other telecom incumbents and in order to counterstrike on the plans offered by Jio, these companies have also come up with some really competitive plans. The State-owned telecom service provider, BSNL is no behind.
As per the recent news, BSNL has extended the validity of some of its prepaid recharge plans by 43 percent and also there is an increase in the data offered by some of the plans by 50 percent on Thursday. Various plans are included in this scheme. The offers are included in BSNL’s ‘Happy Offer’ scheme in which prepaid recharge plans are priced at Rs. 186, Rs. 187, Rs. 349, Rs. 429, Rs. 485 and Rs. 666.
Talking about the prepaid plan which is priced at Rs. 485, the plan will now offer 1.5 GB data per day which comes with a validity of 90 days. Another plan is for BSNL’s Rs. 666, in which the plan will offer 1.5 GB per day data with a validity of 129 days which will be accompanied by unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. For Rs. 186 and Rs. 187 special tariff voucher, the users will get 1 GB data per day for 28 days. The Rs. 429 prepaid plan will offer 1 GB data per day with a validity of 81 days. Lastly, BSNL’s Rs. 349 plans will now offer 1GB data per day with 54 days of validity.
Highlighting the event, the company gave a statement reading “Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced BSNL ‘Happy Offer’ for prepaid mobile customers — 43 percent extra validity and 50 percent additional data with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls for prepaid mobile customers.”
