Sony is the mobile phone manufacturer which has not followed the trend of bezel-less display in any of its smartphones yet. But now it seems that the company has also switched its mind on making bezel-less displays as an image of a bezel-less phone which was said to be the Xperia XZ2 leaked last week. And now it is said that the images are of a new flagship which is named as the Xperia A Edge. The device is expected to be launced in mid April of 2018.
Talking about the features of the device, it will flaunt a 6-inch curved OLED display with Ultra HD resolution. Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 845 processor. The processor will be paired with 6 GB of RAM. Along with the RAM, there will be 128 GB of internal storage on the board which can be further expanded up to 256 GB via inserting a microSD card. Software-wise, it is expected to come preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
Camera-wise, there are going to be four cameras sported on the phone as two 14 MP cameras will be placed on the rear panel of the phone and two 8 MP cameras on the front panel for clicking selfies and video calling. Packing the device will be a 4000 mAh battery and it is water resistant because it’s IP68 certified. Colour options on the board will be Black, Gray, Blue, and Red.
