ASUS ZenPad Z8s Goes Official With 7.9-inch Display, 3GB RAM, Android Nougat

A new Asus 4G LTE tablet has landed in the market under the name ASUS ZenPad Z8s in the US. Coming in standard gray color, the tablet is priced at $250 and is available to buy exclusively from US operator Verizon Wireless. Moreover, it can be bought at a price of $10.41 over 24-months. The biggest highlight of this Zenpad Z8s tablet is running in latest Android Nougat operating system.

Now going with the detailed information about the specs of the device, it comes with a 7.9-inch QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixel) IPS display. Under the hood, the device is powered by 1.8 GHz hexacore Snapdragon 650 processor with 4 processors clocking at 1.4GHz ARM A53 while two processors at 1.8 GHz ARM A72, which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU. The device is touted with 3GB RAM and for the storage, it has a 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up-to 128GB via microSD card.

For the photography part, the phone flaunts an 8-megapixel rear camera on the rear panel and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with ZenUI on top of it. For keeping the lights on, a 4,680 mAh non-removable lithium-polymer battery is present which offers usage time of up to 12 hours and 300 hours of standby time. The device weighs 319 grams and the for connectivity front, it has 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C options.
