Adding another new variant to the Asus Zenfone 4 series lineup, the company surfaced the Zenfone 4 Selfie Lite. This smartphone arrives in addition to two pre-existing Zenfone 4 Selfies, the ZD553KL and ZB553KL, and also the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro.
Sharing a lot of ZB553KL, the smartphone is displayed on the Asus’ Philippine website. The specs offered by the new flagship include major selfie bits- a 13 MP f/2.0 camera with LED flash. The rear panel is home to another 13 MP camera. The screen extends to 5.5-inch, with lack of resolution in the specs it indicates to 720p.
The ‘Lite’ keyword in the Zenfone 4 Selfie Lite’s name is derived probably from the chipset- the Snapdragon 425 with quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU. Next, is the demotion of the RAM to 2GB, and in-built storage either 32GB or 16GB. The other plain Selfies features include the S430 (8 X 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53), while the Selfie Pro follows a different path with its S625 (8 X 2.0GHz Cortex-A53).
Going to the measurements of the device, the Zenfone 4 Selfie Lite measures same 155.7 x 75.9 x 7.9 mm as the two non-Pros, and is backed by a massive battery 3000 mAH. The Smartphone’s operating system runs on Android Nougat (version unspecified) coupled with Asus’ ZenUI on top.
The phone is available in Philippine for this month, date unknown now. The price ranges from PHP 7,995 and PHP 8,995 ($156-$176). The specific configurations may not may not be available to the other markets.
