According to a reliable source, Roland Quandt, the tech giant is planning to launch Galaxy Tab A2 S. Hidden under the code names Samsung SM-T380 / SM-T385, the upcoming new Samsung Galaxy Tab is Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 S.
However, this is not the first time when rumors have surfaced about the tab. Previously, the presence of the device was felt at various certification websites like Tenaa, FCC and WiFi Alliance.
Looking at the specs of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 S. The tablet will house a 1.4 GHZ quad-core Snapdragon 427 SoC coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. It packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space.
Moreover, the Galaxy Tab A2 S will sport a good 8-inch display with 1200* 800 pixel resolution. Also, the tablet packs decent camera capacities with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The Tab A2 S will run on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and houses a 5,000 mAh battery. Additionally, the tab will include various in built Samsung apps and Bixby Home feature. Although, no information on Bixby Voice support is available.
The Tab A2 S might be available in two colors : Black and Gold. Samsung has still not confirmed the presence of this device. Therefore, the information is still open for updation.
