Nowadays every telecom service provider is coming with some great offers and deals in order to leave each other behind. Now to give the direct competition to the Reliance Jio’s Rs. 98 pack, Airtel has launched a prepaid pack that’s priced at ₹93. This war between the incumbents seems like never-ending.
As per the plan, the new plan from Airtel offers benefits which include unlimited calls on local as well as STD numbers, 1GB 3G/ 4G data, and 100 SMS per day. The validity of the pack, however, is just 10 days. The company claims that the plan is focused for non-commercial users.
If we compare the plan with Jio’s Rs 98 plan, it offers 2.1 GB of 4G data for 14 days with a limit of 0.15 GB for one day, unlimited voice calls (local + STD + roaming) to all operators in India, 140 SMS (local + STD + roaming) to all operators, and unlimited access to Jio apps. It gives a total of 2.1 GB 4G data offered to the customers in the validity. However, if we look at the daily usage limit, Airtel has more to offer.
Jio jas also launched some other plans under its Happy New Year 2018 offer which are priced at ₹199 and ₹299. In the ₹199 plan, the users will get unlimited local and STD voice calls, unlimited SMS, free roaming, and, 1.2 GB of 4G data per day for 28 days. Whereas, all the benefits of the ₹299 prepaid plan is same to the last one just with a data limit of 2 GB per day.
Airtel and Vodafone are also on the same path to give more competition to all the existing plans of Jio.
