Every action is followed by a counter-action. This phrase is going very viral in the telecom sector in the country nowadays. Now in order to counter strike Jio’s Rs 98 tariff plan, Bharti Airtel has revised its Rs 93 tariff plan for select users. Airtel’s all-new Rs. 93 prepaid recharge plan now offers 1GB or gigabytes of 3G/4G data for 28 days with no daily data cap. Although, this update is available only for select users like in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana circle. Apart from these circles, Airtel’s Rs. 93 prepaid recharge plan offers 1GB of 3G/4G data for 10 days with no daily cap. This prepaid recharge plan is allowed for non-commercial use only.
Airtel’s Rs. 93 prepaid recharge plan is also bundled with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls along with 100 SMSes (short message service) per day. The plan comes with a validity of the plan is 28 days.
At Rs 98, the Mukesh Ambani-led telco is still ahead in providing the data if compared to Airtel, as it is offering double the data as Airtel. Jio’s prepaid plan priced at Rs. 98 is offering 2GB of 4G high-speed data for a period of 28 days with no daily cap limit. But the Rs 93 tariff plan from Airtel offers more SMS than Jio. The Rs 98 tariff plan of Jio gives just 300 SMS, while in the Airtel offer it’s 100 SMS per day which makes a total of 2800 SMS for the whole period of 28 days. Both the plans come with the same validity of 28 days.
Airtel is offering the best plans for its customers and is remaining in the competition when Jio is coming with some disruptive offers. We are yet to see what this raging war has to offer us more.
