Shortly after Bharti Airtel revamped its Rs 149 and Rs 399 plans, the company, under the Airtel Prepaid Promise scheme, is revising some of its popular tariff plans. Airtel has revised four plans- Rs 199, Rs 349, Rs 448, and Rs 509 which will be giving direct competition to Jio's plan.
Earlier the plans come with the FUP of 1GB per day and after the revision, the plans will offer 1.4GB data per day. These packs are also bundled with unlimited local and STD calls, 100 local and national SMS per day. The Rs 199 plan comes with a validity of 28 days making the total amount of data to 39.2G for the entire period, while the Rs 448 plan and Rs 509 plan comes with the validity of 82 days and 90 days respectively. The Rs 448 plan and Rs 509 plan offers overall data benefit to 114.8GB and 126GB respectively.
There is another plan which after revision is offering a whopping 2.5GB data per day for the validity period which earlier was of 2GB data per day. This plan is valid for 28 days from the date of recharge.
The plans will be applicable in most of the circles of the network across the country including Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Delhi, etc. Though we are still waiting for the official announcement from the company. For circles such as Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Airtel has Rs 149 tariff plan with unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 1GB 3G/4G data for 28 days and Rs 399 Airtel prepaid plan offering same benefits with the validity of 82 days.
