Providing great beneficiaries for the customers, the ongoing telecom war among the incumbents looks like never-ending. Reliance Jio is trying its best to widen its customer base with some luring offers. Amidst all this, Airtel has now revised it already existing ₹149 Prepaid Plan in order to do its best to pull customers. Now with the revised plan, users will be able to enjoy unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls for a period of 28 days.
The cheapest plan from Airtel is also bundled with 100 SMSes per day, however, it offers only 1 GB 4G data for a period of 28 days. Earlier the plan offered unlimited Airtel to Airtel voice calls and 1GB 4G/3G data and now it provides unlimited calling to any network across the country.
Another thing to be noted here is that this plan is only for certain Airtel circles which includes Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The plan is available for two of Airtel prepaid numbers.
If we look at the similar plan from Jio, there is Reliance Jio’s Rs 149 prepaid plan. With a daily cap of 1GB, the Rs 149 recharge plan offers 28GB of 4G data for a period of 28 days in total. The pack is also bundled with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls and it also offers 100 SMSes per day. Furthermore, the subscribers will also get access to a host of Jio apps with this plan.
With this, it is pretty much clear that Reliance Jio is still much ahead of every other incumbent in the market. But it would be interesting to see what this raging war between them has to offer us.
