For Airtel postpaid subscribers with Airtel home broadband connections, Airtel has announced a provision of 5GB additional data on Friday. The telecom giant has decided to offer this additional data for its postpaid users as a part of Airtel’s ‘myHome Rewards’ programme.
The users can use the myAirtel App in order to avail this additional data. The fact to be duly noted here is that this data can be availed only by any one of the Airtel postpaid number linked to the Airtel Home broadband account. Furthermore, the 5GB data will not be part of the postpaid data rollover scheme. The users can validate and confirm their request via SMS to get free rewards.
The data will be added to the existing plan which was of 30GB for Rs 499 postpaid-plan and now becomes 35 GB with an additional 5GB data.
Another interesting plan from Airtel is its 2000GB data plans at Rs 3,299 for its broadband users which is bundled with unlimited calls as well with an option of choosing the speed up to 16 Mbps, 24 Mbps or 40 Mbps depending on their usage and the validity is of 30 days.
The company is now focusing on giving a very hard competition to the king of the telecom sector, Reliance Jio. Airtel claims to be the second largest telecom service provider in India and now it is broadening its customers base. In order to lure its customers, Airtel on Thursday announced cashback of Rs 1,500 on Itel smartphones which included the Itel A40 for Rs 4,599 and the itel A41 for Rs 4,699 and a cashback worth Rs 1,500 will be given to them over a period of 36 months.
