To stay ahead in the race of providing the best 4G service to its customers than arch rival Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel has launched the new myPlan Infinity postpaid plan of Rs 999 that will give the customers 50GB of 3G/4G data along with unlimited local and STD voice calls to any network across the country. With this new offer, the customer will also be able to carry forward the unused data in their next billing cycle. The new Airtel plan is available for the existing as well the new users.
The new Airtel Rs 999 plan will also allow the customer to use 4GB 3G/4G data per day for a period of 28 days. This plan is aimed for the people who have a daily high data consumption. The company will also be providing a free Airtel Secure service for six months along with the new plan. Under this secure service, the operator will be get the customer’s phone repaired from an authorized service centre in case of accidental and liquid damage.
When compared to the Reliance Jio Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, both the Jio postpaid and prepaid customers will get the same benefit of unlimited local, STD calls as well SMS along with 84GB of mobile data for three months with a recharge of Rs 309 and above.
Apart from this, Airtel has also teamed up with Karbonn to release a 4G smartphone named Karbonn A40, which will be priced at Rs 1,399. The customers will have to make an initial down payment of Rs 2,899 from which Rs 1,500 will be refunded back after 36 months. The customer will have to make a monthly recharge of Rs 169 in order to avail the cash back. But those customers who wish to opt out of the Rs 169 plan will have to recharge with atleast Rs. 6000 in those 36 months to get the cash back. But in this case, when the Airtel offer is compared with the Reliance JioPhone, The JioPhone has an effective price of Rs 0 as the amount refunded after three years is the total price of the phone.
