Due to the unavailability of 2G networks in many markets, the HMD owned Nokia announced the 3G variant of relaunched feature phone Nokia 3310 just a couple of days ago. The phone will make its way to the markets in the countries like the US and Australia. The availability of the phone is not confirmed yet by the company.
But here is some bad news for the users who have been waiting for the launch of the 3G variant in India, an HMD spokesperson has confirmed that Nokia 3310 3G version will not be coming to India as the launch of the variant does not make much sense in the country like India where 2G network is supported. The information was given through the Twitter account of the company.
Specifications of Nokia 3310:
If we talk about the specifications of this new variant, the overall specifications are same as the original model. Nokia 3310 (2017) mobile was launched in February 2017 featuring a 2.40-inch display with a resolution of 240 pixels by 320 pixels. It comes with the price in India which starts from Rs. 3,599. The phone packs 16MB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. For the optics part, the Nokia 3310 (2017) packs a 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear. There is no front camera on the device. The phone comes with the support for USB Micro USB (USB 2.0).
The Nokia 3310 (2017) runs Series 30 which is powered by a 1200mAh removable battery. Connectivity options include Bluetooth and FM. It measures 115.60 x 51.00 x 12.80 (height x width x thickness). The phone is the revamped version of remarkable old Nokia 3310 and it is now launched with some new and interesting features.
